LOL, my recent post Google Adsense Generator got 100 Nangs at the first 24 hours it was posted and was featured in Nuffnang homepage after fooling so many Nuffnang members.

New look of Jacob's...

Oh ya, yesterday was busy with my new blogger template.
Modify here and there, until 7.oo in the morning.. Arhh, so tired man!
Well, nothing big is changed.
The favicon is still the same, the biggest change is the overall look of my blog.
Erm, quite cool right? ;)
By the way, I have removed the Chat box at the moment.

Add Favicon to Blogger URL

Have you noticed the little icon appear next to my blog address in your web browser? This is called "Favicon" or "Favourite Icon".

First, you need to have an icon which you would like to use. You can create one at CoolText.com or using other free icon editor software from the internet.

Next, you need to transform the images into ico. format. You can use the free service of Favicon Generator and favicon .ico Hosting by IconJ. This tool lets you upload an image file (JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, ICO, TIFF, less than 1MB), and easily convert it to a standard 16x16 favicon.ico file and host it at IconJ.com for free.

Finally, go to Layout>Edit HTML in your blogger dashboard. Simply copy the code given (direct link) and paste it just before the closing </head> tag.

Finally, save your template. You're done and your new favicon will now appear in the address bar.

How to add AdSense between blog posts

Looking at my Jacob's homepage, you will see a Google AdSense ad unit located in between first and second blog posts. Now, you can add AdSense ads in between your blog posts using Blogger new feature.

It is very easy to put AdSense ads in between blog posts. Here the step-by-step guides:

1. Sign into your blogger.
   
2. At the dashboard, click on Layout, and should be redirect to Add and Arrange Page Elements.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the Edit at the Blog Posts column and a "Configure Blog Posts" page will be loaded.
   
4. Select and tick Show Ads Between Post and "Configure Inline Ads" section will appear.
5. Now, choose the ads format you prefer and set how often the ads to appear.
   
   
   
6. Remember to Save when done.
